Mick Foley Announces First Two Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Bouts For 11/7 WWE NXT
Mick Foley has announced the first two Iron Survivor Challenge qualifying matches for 2023.
The Iron Survivor challenge returns for NXT Deadline 2023. There will be both a men’s and women’s challenge with five competitors fighting for the right to be the next challengers for the respective NXT Championships.
It was already known that qualifying matches would begin on November 7, with a panel of Hall of Famers deciding who should challenge. Rather than an actual panel like last year, it appears this year, descion-making has gone to the social media of certain legends as Mick Foley has decreed the first two qualifying matches that will take place on November 7.
In women’s action, fans will see the match that they did not see at Halloween Havoc as Fallon Henley takes on Tiffany Stratton. In men’s action, Dijak will do battle with Tyler Bate.
Mick Foley just blessed you all with Dijak vs. Tyler Bate for free.

The Iron Survivor Challenge match debuted at NXT Deadline 2022. It features five competitors, and it has a 25-minute time limit. The match begins with two competitors, and a new participant enters every five minutes. To win the match, a competitor must earn the most points via pinfall, submission, or disqualification. The winner of the bout will earn a shot at the NXT Championship or the NXT Women’s Championship.
At NXT Deadline 2022, Grayson Waller and Roxanne Perez won the inaugural Men’s and Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge matches, respectively.
