Gunther Not Allowed To Leave US For The Next Six Months Due to Residency Regulations

Gunther won’t be performing overseas anytime soon.

In a profile piece by Krone on Gunther, it is revealed that the WWE Intercontinental Champion “is not allowed to leave the USA due to strict residency regulations. During this time, he is only allowed to perform within the United States.”

Gunther did wrestle on the recent overseas tour for WWE, defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Bronson Reed while the company traveled around Germany.

He last wrestled on October 28, defeating Reed at a live event in Berlin.

Gunther noted in the profile piece that he only saw his wife Jinny for six days in October.

Fightful will provide fans with more information regarding Gunther’s travel status when it is known.

Over the next six months, WWE is set for non-US premium live events on November 4 with WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, which Gunther is not scheduled to compete at, and February 24, 2024 with WWE Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia.
