Mark Briscoe Says They Are In The Early ‘Thinking And Planning’ Stages Of A Pugh School Of Wrestling
Mark Briscoe discusses the future of the Briscoes in wrestling.
The Briscoes (Mark Briscoe & Jay Briscoe) are one of the most decorated tag teams of all-time and though the wrestling world sadly lost Jay earlier this year, Mark carries the Briscoe legacy on in AEW and ROH.
The Briscoe legacy could live on past Mark as his seven children are already taking to the ring.
“I hope so,” Mark said on Brawn Body Health and Fitness when asked if his kids had a future in wrestling. “Of the seven, soon to be eight, yesterday, I had Malcolm and Marshall, who are two and four, soon to be three and four, and then Mikey and Mark, who are eight and nine, I had them all in the ring. The problem is, Malcolm and Marshall, they just don’t stop. I can’t teach anybody anything when they’re in there. It’s going to have to be a five and under class and a five and older class. It’s just non-stop Royal Rumble, madhouse brawl when they’re in there. Trying to teach the other kids some things, it’s just not going well because they’re non-stop. I’m hoping so.”
When asked about a Pugh School of Wrestling, Mark replied, “Maybe so. It might be. It might very well be. We’re in the early thinking, planning, and plotting stages there.”
Mark returned to television on the October 27 episode of AEW Rampage following a knee injury that has kept him sidelined since June.
It is unknown when he will have his first match back.
