Eddie Kingston: I’m Happy For LA Knight, He Busts His Ass
Eddie Kingston comments on LA Knight’s success.
Eddie Kingston and LA Knight (Eli Drake in NWA) worked together during the early days of NWA Powerrr, standing out as highlights of the show alongside Ricky Starks and Chelsea Green.
All four have gone on to find success outside of the NWA with Kingston winning the ROH and NJPW Strong Championships, Starks winning the AEW Tag Team Championship, and Chelsea winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. While Knight hasn’t won gold, he’s set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WWE Crown Jewel.
Speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Kingston commented on Knight’s success.
“I like LA Knight. He’s a good dude. He’s allowed (to wear Timbs). I’m so happy for LA Knight. That dude busts his ass. We all did. To see him get the love that he’s getting and being able to perform on that big stage, I salute him,” said Kingston.
