Kamille has some big goals left in the NWA.
Kamille’s 813-day reign as the NWA World Women’s Champion came to an end when Kenzie Paige defeated her at NWA 75. As the NWA enters a new era with reported TV deals and a new champion in EC3, Kamille’s future is unclear, as fans have often speculated that she could move to WWE. In the past, she has stated that she would love to have the opportunity to work for WWE.
Speaking on The Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast with Jason Powell, Kamille was asked what’s left to accomplish if she stays in the NWA. She emphasized that she wants to be with the company when it grows. The former champion stated that she would love to be a part of it when the company can sell out arenas with over 15,000 fans.
“I think what’s left to accomplish if I stay with the NWA would be, like you said, we’re about to get a TV deal, supposedly [laughs]. I say supposedly, but Billy’s been talking about this for a long time, so I do believe that it is happening. I guess it’s really always been my goal just to be, because I feel like I’ve been there from ground zero, so I just want to be there when it grows and when we can sell out arenas of 15-20,000. That would be great. I would love to be a part of that because selfishly, I’ll feel like, ‘Man, I helped build this.’ When you say that you want to help see the company grow, it’s hard to put a number on it. Really, the only way to reach goals I feel like in life, is if you have a set date or a set number to correlate with it. So I don’t necessarily have a set date right now in mind. But yeah, my next goal would be to be in that arena of 15-20,000. I think that would be wonderful,” Kamille said.
During the interview, Kamille said she would be content staying with the NWA, but she has time to think about her future. Check out her comments here.
