Mike Bailey: I Should Be NJPW World TV Champion, I Bet Zack Sabre Jr. Doesn’t Even Own A TV

Mike Bailey fires shots at Zack Sabre Jr.

At Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January 2023, Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Ren Narita to become the inaugural NJPW World Television Champion. Currently, Sabre Jr. still holds the championship and has spent the year defending the title against the likes of Jeff Cobb, Tom Lawlor, Tomohiro Ishii, and Satoshi Kojima.

At the upcoming NJPW STRONG Lonestar Shootout show in November, Sabre Jr. will defend the title against ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey.

On Monday, October 30, Bailey sent out a tweet on social media and joked that he should be the NJPW World TV Champion, primarily because Zack Sabre Jr. probably doesn’t even own a television. Bailey also joked that he watches 80+ hours of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives every week and that he wants to defend the belt against Guy Fieri.
