Timothy Thatcher: I Wouldn’t Snub A Match With Claudio Castagnoli Or Jon Moxley, They’re Tremendous

Two down and two to go.

Pro Wrestling Noah’s Timothy Thatcher joined Fightful’s Wrestling Perspective Podcast with Dennis Farrell and Lars Frederiksen for an exclusive interview. The former NXT Superstar spoke on numerous topics, but one of those topics was who would be some opponents he would like to face in the future.

Thatcher would explain to The Wrestling Perspective Podcast why he wants to face off against two particular opponents in AEW.

“I was grateful that I got to wrestle Bryan Danielson. I would like to wrestle Mr. Claudio Castagnoli of the Blackpool Combat Club. That would be very nice because I’m slowly working through [Blackpool Combat Club]. I wrestled Bryan Danielson. I wrestled Wheeler, you know, so we got Claudio left, and we got Mr. Moxley [Jon Moxley] left. So, that would be ok. I wouldn’t snub either one of those because both of them are tremendous.” Thatcher said.

Thatcher is 0-3 against The Blackpool Combat Club. He has wrestled Wheeler Yuta twice and Danielson once. His last appearance in AEW was in February under the Ring of Honor brand. When he lost a ROH Pure Title Championship match to Wheeler Yuta.

Elsewhere, in the interview, Thatcher said he would also hope to wrestle against his friend and WWE Intercontinental Champion, GUNTHER. Thatcher spoke about their history together and likes seeing where GUNTHER is now in his career with the WWE.

Timothy Thatcher will soon face a returning Chris Hero at West Coast Pro on November 17th. Chris Hero has not wrestled since March of 2020. Fightful will provide results for this event on the results page, which can be seen by clicking here.
