Cain Velasquez On Brock Lesnar: He’s Legit, He’s The Real Deal

Cain Velasquez comments on working with Brock Lesnar. 

At UFC 121 in October 2010, Cain Velasquez defeated Brock Lesnar inside the Octagon to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship. 

Nine years later, Cain came to the WWE to confront Lesnar, who had just won the WWE Championship. 

Speaking to Quinton “Rampage” Jackson on the Rampage & Bear podcast, Cain was asked if it was awkward working with Brock after they met in the Octagon. 

“I guess. He was a little scarred up. It’s not like we did the thing and it was all good. He has something for life on his face. I don’t know if anybody tells him about it or puts it in his face,” Cain said. 

After “Rampage” praised Brock as a wrestler, Cain said, “He’s amazing. Amazing, amazing. He fucking…he’s the real deal. He’s legit.”

Brock and Cain faced inside a wrestling ring at WWE Crown Jewel 2019.

Brock was victorious in the WWE match, which was Cain’s only televised match in WWE.
