GFW has just announced, via the following statement, that they have suspended their Unified Heavyweight Champion, Alberto El Patron.

Global Force Wrestling has indefinitely suspended Alberto El Patron, effective immediately, until the investigation is resolved following a recent incident in Orlando, Florida.

El Patron is under investigation for domestic assault after an incident with his fiancee, former WWE Divas Champion Paige.
