WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven appeared on NXT for the second week in a row on the October 24 episode of WWE NXT, which kicked off the Halloween Havoc special. They got into a confrontation with Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne, and the NXT stars challenged the champions to a title match. The bout was then confirmed for October 31.

Green and Niven have yet to defend the titles since Niven replaced Sonya Deville as Chelsea’s partner in August.
