Road Dogg: I Think The Street Profits Are Going To Blossom As Heel Characters

Road Dogg talks about what he’s currently enjoying in the world of WWE.

Road Dogg has lived through many eras of professional wrestling and has years of experience behind the scenes as well. As the current Senior Vice President of Live Events, the WWE Hall of Famer still has his eyes on what is popping in the promotion today and he is still a fan all of these years later.

Speaking on the most recent episode of his Oh… You Didn’t Know podcast, Dogg opened up about what he’s liking in the world of wrestling today including Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, and the recently turned heel Street Profits.

Concerning The Street Profits, Road Dogg says that he believes Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford will have the opportunity to flesh out their characters even more now that they are villains alongside Bobby Lashley.

“I love The Street Profits turning heel I think them and Bobby are really cool together they’re and they can work. Their work is great, nobody’s denying that. So I think they’re really going to get to develop and blossom a little bit as heel characters on that side of the roster,” said Dogg.

As for some of his other favorite things in WWE, Dogg like anyone else watching is a fan of LA Knight and also says he’s enjoying Cody Rhodes’ path to finishing the story and the twists and turns it’s taking.

“They’re really cool,” he said of the pairing of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. “You said you didn’t know you needed them until you saw them together, and that’s super cool. It’s cool when something organic like that happens. There’s two babyfaces that I’m loving right now. Cody, you gotta love Cody’s trip. The story is being told and things are happening while the stories happening. I also love LA Knight. Who doesn’t love LA Knight?”

Road Dogg previously commented on Cody Rhodes’ inability to finish the story at WrestleMania 39. You can read his comments here

As for LA Knight, he will have the opportunity to be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel on November 4. Learn more here.
