Mick Foley Says That He Uses A Knockoff Mankind Mask For His Cameo Videos
Mick Foley shares a small detail about his Cameo videos and reveals that he’s not using an authentic Mankind mask when asked to send messages as the deranged former WWE Champion.
Mick Foley, like many celebrities, utilizes Cameo to connect with his fans in the digital age. Mick Foley is a unique Cameo celebrity as he is able to send messages as himself or one of his three wrestling personas, Mankind, Dude Love, or Cactus Jack.
During an appearance on Hot Ones, Foley revealed that he doesn’t actually use an authentic Mankind mask, rather he has a fan-made mask that he requested to be made by a fan in Thailand.
Luckily for Mick and all of the video recipients, it’s a spot-on replica.
“For my cameo videos, I wear a knockoff [mask] that was made in Thailand, and for the life of me, I can’t really tell the difference. When I contacted the young man from Thailand, he thought I was trying to get him in trouble, but I want you to make me a mask man [laughs]. The young man did a nice job.”
Mick Foley, elsewhere in the interview, spoke about taking a Pedigree into a pile of thumbtacks at the 2000 WWE Royal Rumble event. Read more here.
To go with a replica Mankind mask, fans can purchase a Mick Foley WWE Championship Signature Series belt. Learn more about the belt here.
