AEW Dynamite (10/18/23) Results: Sting, Adam Copeland, More Appear; Kenny Omega vs. Kyle Fletcher
AEW hosted its latest episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, live from the Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, Texas.
This week features Adam Copeland offering a rebuttal to Christian Cage and Sting addressing the AEW fans. In in-ring action, Kenny Omega takes Kyle Fletcher on one-on-one. Plus, the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale returns.

AEW Dynamite (10/18/23) Results
* Jay White def. Penta El Zero Miedo
– Jay White called out MJF. He says he’s willing to face him in an 8-man tag if he can find any friends. Max doesn’t show up. Juice Robinson says he plans on winning the Battle Royale tonight.
– MJF is interviewed by Renee Paquette. Max says he didn’t come out because he’s doing commentary during the Battle Royale and doesn’t want to waste his pop. The Acclaimed have arrived. Max Caster respectfully asks for them to be the ones who team with MJF against Bullet Club Gold. MJF declines. So Caster says he’s going to enter the Battle Royale so that he can win and then beat MJF so MJF will have to put a ring on it.
– Excalibur narrates a quick video package about the upcoming women’s match between Hikaru Shida and Emi Sakura
* Hikaru Shida def. Emi Sakura
– Renee Paquette interviewed Adam Copeland. Adam Copeland recounted his history with Christian Cage and said that he never meant for it to always be him being the one who was mentioned first or who reached greater heights but that’s just the way things panned out. He feels like Christian has let this fester in his brain and it’s become a cancer. Copeland says he doesn’t want to fight Christian and he promises to be there when Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus leave him behind.
* Wardlow def. Ryan Nemeth
– Tony Schiavone inquires as to why Wardlow has returned. Wardlow lifts his wrist, revealing a tape with the words “MJF” scrawled on it. Wardlow pushes Schiavone to the ground and heads to the back, but this time he goes the proper way.
– Kenny Omega promotes his match with Kyle Fletcher in an interview and implies that he would go after the world championship. MJF approaches Omega and expresses his admiration for him. “13 days, bitch,” he says into Omega’s ear. Omega says, “We’ll see about that.” yeah
– There’s another vignette of Adam Cole taking care of Roderick Strong and the Kingdom at Roderick’s house. Adam finally snaps after he makes Roddy a PB&J sandwich and Roddy gets mad at him because he doesn’t take the crust off. Roddy says he’s going to have to be nice to “that scumbag yay” to get his best friend back.
– The Don Callis Family is interviewed by Tony Schiavone in the ring. Powerhouse Hobbs says he has beef with Chris Jericho because Jericho snubbed him when he was a kid back in 1998. Callis claims that the family is not finished and that he will unleash Hobbs on AEW. Callis points out that the group has only been together once. Then Kyle Fletcher had to step in due to Sammy Guevara’s injury. Kyle Fletcher, according to Callis, cheated the Don Callis Family. Fletcher appears. Fletcher claims he was the weakest link in the bout, but he was going to show everyone that he didn’t need anyone’s support to beat Omega. Callis informs Fletcher that if he defeats Omega, he may get an opportunity to discuss.

– Another vignette teases Danhausen’s return.
* Lance Archer def. Barrett Brown
– Swerve Strickland cuts a promo on Hangman.
– Sting reflects on his career. Thanks to names like Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and more. He’s teasing retirement. Sting reflects on his 2015 retirement and says he’s going to address his next retirement right now. His last match is going to be held at AEW Revolution 2024.
– Toni Storm’s latest riveting picture aired during a picture-in-picture commercial break
– Jim Ross spoke with Nick Wayne and his mother. She claims she doesn’t recognize Nick at the moment. Wayne instructs her to shut up. Nick believes it is time for him to show his worth. He considers Christian Cage to be an even better father figure than his own father. Mom hits Nick, and he declares that she is dead to him. Darby Allin goes after Cage and Nick. They brawl to the ringside area. Sting saves Allin when Luchasaurus attacks him from behind. Sting fights Cage, but Luchasaurus pulls him to safety when Sting has him set up for a Scorpion Death Lock.
– Kris Statlander says backstage that she wants to defend her TBS Championship against Willow Nightingale. That match is set for AEW Battle of the Belts. Orange Cassidy speaks about reclaiming the AEW International Championship. Says he has unfinished business as champion.
* Juice Robinson last eliminates Max Caster to win the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale

– When it came down to the end of the match, Jay White jumped MJF at the commentary desk. MJF got the better of him and took his belt back but was swiftly punched in the balls and then the distraction caused Max Caster to be punched by Juice Robinson who was wearing his $25 ring from TJ Maxx. Juice dumps Max and punches his ticket to face MJF next week.
