Lio Rush To Be Replaced By Ryusuke Taguchi On 10/4 And 10/5 NJPW Events Due To Illness

Lio Rush pulled from upcoming New Japan Pro-Wrestling events.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that Lio Rush will miss the next two Road to DESTRUCTION events in Iwate and Aomori respectively. Rush will be missing the events due to an unspecified illness.

NJPW has announced that Lio Rush will be replaced by Ryusuke Taguchi.

Thank you for supporting New Japan Pro-Wrestling. 

Due to illness, Lio Rush will be absent from live events this week in Iwate and Aomori. Rush will be replaced by Ryusuke Taguchi October 4 and 5. 

We apologize to fans who were looking forward to seeing Lio wrestle and appreciate your understanding. 

NJPW joins fans in wishing Lio a full and fast recovery.

On both nights, Taguchi will team with Tomohiro Ishii, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, and YOH against the Los Ingobernables de Japon team of  BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi, Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi, and Yota Tsuji.
