NXT No Mercy Cold Open Pays Homage To WWF No Mercy N64 Game

NXT is getting a blast from the past. 

The NXT No Mercy cold open might be familiar to old school wrestling gamers as it pays homage to the classic No Mercy N64 game. 

The cold open features an NXT vibe from the No Mercy game intro and NXT wrestlers as characters on the select and match screen. It then launches into highlights promoting the top matches on Saturday’s NXT No Mercy.

WWF No Mercy was released in November 2000.
