IMPACT Wrestling (9/28) Results: Trinity vs. Gisele Shaw, Yuya Uemura’s Goodbye Celebration, More

IMPACT Wrestling (9/28) Results
* IMPACT X-Division Championship: Chris Sabin (c) def. Angels
– After, a vignette revealed KENTA’s IMPACT return for IMPACT Bound For Glory. Sabin didn’t seem impressed.
– Alex Shelley cut a promo about being the face of the company. Promises to give Josh Alexander his best shot.
* Rhino def. Jack Price
– Steve Maclin attacked Rhino after the match. Rhino fought back and Maclin bailed before eating a Gore.
– Tasha Steelz is excited to be back in IMPACT and is approached by Deonna Purrazzo about forming an alliance.
– Yuya Uemura comes out for his goodbye ceremony. Joe Hendry comes out with him. Everybody’s sad. Hendry tries to say that everyone should enjoy the times they had together. Yuya thanked the audience and then as quickly interrupted as The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) appeared. They mocked Yuya for being fired as a result of the Feast or Fired bout. This resulted in a brawl. Santino Marella appeared and booked The Rascalz vs. Joya with the caveat that if Joya wins, Uemara can remain in IMPACT.
* The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) def. Joya (Joe Hendry & Yuya Uemura)
– Gia Miller catches up with Gisele Shaw backstage. Shaw says that once she wins her match against Trinity tonight, she will be heading to Bound For Glory to challenge Trinity for the championship.
– Deaner cuts a promo about having to deal with liars, such as Eric Young, Sami Callihan, and Alan Angels. Deaner says that Kon will be squaring off with Josh Alexander in the future
* Memphis Street Fight: Tommy Dreamer & Heath def. Kenny King & Sheldon Jean
– Crazzy Steve attacked Dreamer with his Feast or Fired briefcase and proclaimed it his new beginning.
– Ace Austin and Chris Bey are excited about their briefcase and the fact that The Rascalz can no longer run from them. John Skyler shows up after they say that they need to put the Good Hands to bed in a Fans Revenge Strap Match. Skyler says his partner, Jason Hotch, is not around because of the birth of his new baby. ABC says that’s fine and to just find anyone from the roster.
* Jonathan Gresham def. “Speedball” Mike Bailey
– Moose talks to Brian Myers about being excited to hold the briefcase that grants him a World Championship opportunity and says he wants to have a singles match next week.
– Steve Maclin approaches Bully Ray backstage and wants his help taking out Rhino. Bully says he’s known Rhino for 25 years and will just talk to him. Maclin says Bully has gone soft.
* Trinity vs. Gisele Shaw
– After the match, Mickie James saved Trinity from an attack by the Shawntourage and challenged her to a Knockouts Title match. Trinity accepted the challenge.
