Booker T Reveals The True Crime Origins Of The Phrase ‘Hottie Biscotti’

Booker T’s “hottie biscotti” phrase might be a source of joy for fans every Tuesday night on NXT, but its origins are far from joyous.

Booker T is an entertaining color commentator alongside Vic Joseph every Tuesday night on NXT. Now and again, when he sees someone with the beauty of a Tiffany Stratton, he will describe them by using the phrase “hottie biscotti.”

Booker T has since revealed that he took the phrase from the Jodi Arias/Travis Alexander murder case as “hottie biscotti” was Arias’ pet name for Alexander

“Hottie Biscotti actually came from the Jodi Arias murder case,” Booker said to Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone. “That was her [pet name] for the guy [she was convicted of killing] Travis Alexander. That was her term for him,” Booker explained. “Her ‘hottie biscotti.’ I was like, ‘Man, that sounds pretty cool.’ So I said, ‘I’m gonna steal that to use [on NXT].’ I love true crime, too. That’s one of my favorite things to talk about as well as watch.”

Booker T has been very complimentary of his broadcast partner, Vic Joseph, admitting that he is pushing for Joseph to get another run at the main roster announce desk. Read more here

Elsewhere in this interview, Booker T also spoke about Reality of Wrestling’s relationship with NXT. Read his comments here.
