AEW EVP Kenny Omega took to social media on September 27 and noted that when one wrestler goes from one company to another, others tend to wish them the best and cheer for them as they embark on their new journey. Omega stated that it’s embarrassing and shameful that some fans aren’t capable of the same.

Omega’s post came one day after former AEW star Jade Cargill officially signed with WWE. The move sparked a divisive reaction among fans, as some were happy to see Cargill join WWE while others took the news as a chance to criticize Cargill and/or AEW.
