In a recent interview, ROH World Champion Eddie Kingston responded to critics of his look by noting that he puts in the work. Chris Jericho responded to a tweet that highlighted Kingston’s comments by saying that “The Mad King” is one in a million.

Jericho and Kingston feuded throughout 2022. They faced each other at AEW Revolution 2022, and they later clashed in a Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match on the July 20 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Both Kingston and Jericho will compete at AEW WrestleDream on October 1. Kingston will defend the ROH World Championship and NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship against Katsuyori Shibata.
