Elias Confirms He Was Ezekiel
Mystery solved.
On the April 4, 2022 episode of WWE Raw, a man by the name of Ezekiel made his WWE debut. Ezekiel looked a lot like Elias, only this man was clean-shaven and had shorter hair.
It was revealed that Ezekiel was actually the younger brother of Elias. The two men would appear on-screen together and fans were 100% fooled.
The only man who knew the truth was Kevin Owens.
Sadly, Elias was released by WWE on September 21. In his statement reflecting on his time in WWE, Elias confirmed that he was actually Ezekiel.

Owens ended up putting Ezekiel in a local medical facility on the August 8, 2022 episode of WWE Raw.
Elias returned to WWE on the October 17, 2022 episode of WWE Raw.
Kevin Owens was correct. It’s a shame this is how the world had to find out.
