WWE SmackDown

– Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) confronted The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio) and challenged their claim that they were the most dominant faction in WWE.

– Grayson Waller interrupted LA Knight. LA Knight mocked Waller and Austin Theory. He then defeated Theory in a match.

–  Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and Damian Priest of The Judgment Day defeated Butch and Ridge Holland of the Brawling Brutes. 

– Charlotte Flair and Shotzi faced Bayley and IYO SKY of Damage CTRL. Asuka interfered and cost Damage CTRL the match. Asuka confronted IYO SKY after the match and made it clear that she wants the title.

Paul Heyman told LA Knight he was a fan of his work, but he warned him to knock the next time he was in a meeting with Adam Pearce.

– Jimmy Uso approached Paul Heyman and said he was still “in” The Bloodline because he wasn’t out. Heyman said Jimmy wouldn’t really be “in” until Roman Reigns said so. He made it clear that he intended to get the family back together. Heyman confronted AJ Styles, who got physical with him. Jimmy then attacked Styles.

Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) appeared, as they were watching the Brawling Brutes face Damian Priest and Finn Balor.

WWE announced that Asuka will challenge IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship on the September 22 episode of WWE SmackDown.

– Tensions rose within The O.C. (AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, and Michin).

– AJ Styles defeated Jimmy Uso. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) attacked Styles after the match.

– IYO SKY claimed that Asuka needs to be ready for her.

Kit Wilson said it’s nearly time to tag back in.

– The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) defeated “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard and “Cool Hand” Angelo Parker.

– Despite some tension between Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida, Baker, Shida, and Skye Blue defeated Taya Valkyrie, The Bunny, and Anna Jay.

– Penta El Zero Miedo defeated Jay Lethal to advance to the next round of the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament.

– Samoa Joe beat Jeff Hardy to advance to the next round of the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament.

– A video package hyped up MJF’s title match at Grand Slam.

Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara agreed to face each other on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam
