TAELER: Future Watch Feature: Kylie Alexa

Fast on the heels of an incredible PPV, I think it goes without saying, and yet I’m writing it anyway – NWA is sporting some seriously talented stars both present and future. NWA has this ingenious way of having one hand in the past while also maintaining a guiding hand on the future with its stars. NWA ushers in, fosters, and grows meaningful long-lasting relationships with the wrestling stars of tomorrow. One such up-and-coming star is none other than one half of your current reigning and defending NWA Women’s Tag Team Champions, Pretty Empowered’s Kylie Alexa!

Kylie Alexa has been a star of the rise, in my opinion, for some time. She’s had a heck of year both in singles and tag team competition with Ella Envy and fellow rising star and new NWA Women’s Champion Kenzie Paige. Thus far Kylie Alexa has amassed an impressive upward trajectory slowly catapulting her into superstardom. Now the pace while described as slow, I do feel the need to stress that this is not a bad thing as some may suggest. In fact its quite the opposite. This ‘slow pace’ alone is a key element of Kylie Alexa’s success so far in 2023 and heading into 2024. The importance of the aforementioned speed is immeasurable in intrinsic value as it relates to becoming a wrestling superstar today.

We’ve seen all too well over the last couple of years that too many stars are rising too quickly and consequently are burning out. As they shine brighter and brighter they begin to fizzle out faster and faster. Subsequently being snuffed out like a candle. Just as easily as they rise so too do they fall. Stuck. Immovable and entirely without an explanation. Never fully understanding what was happening or why. It’s in this exactly that I celebrate Kylie Alexa and want to give some well-deserved recognition to the old school slow build of a stars like her.

Kylie Alexa, with the expert guidance of her trainers, is avoiding that tragic waking nightmare of a reality as a rising star in Pro Wrestling. I commend them for a job well done. And honestly from Tom Prichard and Glenn Jacobs I’d expect nothing less! I stand by my previous remarks stated on my podcast Talks with Taeler Hendrix on russosbrand.com when I said that Prichard’s school is one of the best in the country.

All of which lend themselves to the perfect combination for someone as tenacious and feisty as Kylie Alexa.

Adding onto her dedication to honing her craft and her mightily impressive resume, Kylie Alexa continues to sharpen her edge over most of her competition with each new opportunity that she earns. And NWA 75 was certainly no exception.

NWA 75 was the showcase of showcases putting on full display the depth of the talent currently residing within the ranks of NWA. Stars like Kylie Alexa! From bottom to top NWA is cultivating stars that will represent the future of this business in the years to follow. They have a vision that’s designed this home for future stars. A home built upon a solid foundation of the past and the future. A wave of nostalgia with a modern twist. They simultaneously pay homage to NWA’s past and remain dedicated to building the future of this business. A future that I’d be proud of. A promising future that continues to unfold with Kylie Alexa.

Whether you realize it or not, as a woman in wrestling, I can attest to the fact that be it win or lose, in the grand scheme of things, Kylie Alexa is winning. Seldom do people teach the wisdom of knowing that it takes true talent and knowledge to make yourself look good even in loss. That one vital skill plays an integral part in how careers are made. How childhood dreams are fully realized. And how young stars like Kylie Alexa reach their fullest potential as superstars in the ever-evolving landscape of Pro Wrestling. She possesses this skill and understanding. And this is why not all schools are created equal. And the stars like Kylie Alexa that come from these schools are so much more equipped for success in this business.

I have no doubts that we will be hearing a lot more about the NWA Women’s Tag Team Champions, Pretty Empowered’s Ella Envy and Kylie Alexa. And if I had a Rookie of the Year feature for Fightful.com – Kylie Alexa would be in it. However, I do not, but what I do have is a Future Watch Feature.

So with that I digress. Pretty Empowered’s Kylie Alexa is one to watch! So consider yourself indelibly warned. And true to form, I stand by what I’m about to say when I write that, I do believe Mildred Burke would be irrevocably proud of the long-lasting legacy she helped pioneer with NWA and the up-and-coming stars like Kylie Alexa who now call it home with championship gold…

So now as this Future Watch Feature comes to an end, I’ll leave you with the words of Kylie Alexa herself – “Book this Barbie”
