Mustafa Ali Earns NXT North American Title Shot At NXT No Mercy Due To Fast Count From Dominik Mysterio
Mustafa Ali is headed to No Mercy, thanks to some unintentional help from Dominik Mysterio.
Mysterio was the Special Referee in a match between Ali and Dragon Lee on September 5. Dominik Mysterio gifted the win to Ali via a fast count. Dominik Mysterio also consistently slow-counted Dragon Lee, likely trying to avoid an encounter with the luchador after he was pinned by Lee in a tag team match at NXT Heatwave.

For his troubles, Mysterio was punched by Mustafa Ali in an attempt by Ali to show that he was not willing to take favor from the member of Judgment Day. As of now, their match is scheduled for NXT No Mercy on September 30.
