Aron Stevens: NWA Is The Comfort Food Of Pro Wrestling, We’re Not Going To Overcomplicate Things
Aron Stevens says that NWA is the comfort food of professional wrestling.
The National Wrestling Alliance has maintained a steady fanbase over the past number of years, despite receiving criticism on a number of things from pockets of fans in the world of wrestling.
The company is seemingly in the midst of entering a new era, as they recently crowned a new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion in EC3, and a new NWA World Women’s Champion in Kenzie Paige.
In a new interview with Comicbook.com, Aron Stevens, who both wrestles and manages in the promotion, said that the NWA is the comfort food of the pro wrestling industry.
“As we develop, we are the tomato soup and grilled cheese of pro wrestling. We’re the comfort food. We’re not going to try to overcomplicate storylines. We want to give you in-ring action that is comparable to anyone out there today, but at the same time, let you fall in love with the characters. Let you fall in love with the show. We want to give the audience an opportunity to digest the show instead of doing so much where you don’t.”
Fans can find results from night one and night two of the NWA 75 pay-per-view by clicking their respective links.
