On the August 28 episode of WWE Raw, Becky Lynch headlined the show, as she faced Zoey Stark in a Falls Count Anywhere match. The bout marked the latest clash between the two, and it came a few days ahead of Lynch’s match with Trish Stratus at WWE Payback. It also came a few days after Windham Rotunda, also known as Bray Wyatt, passed away.
Lynch, wearing a Bray Wyatt armband, waged war with Stark. She also dealt with plenty of interference from Trish Stratus. The WWE Hall of Famer even slammed her through a table with a bulldog. In the end, Stratus went crashing through a table, and Lynch pinned Stark.
In an emotional moment, Lynch tearfully raised her Wyatt armband as the show ended.

After the show went off the air, Lynch grabbed a microphone and addressed the live crowd. She recalled how Wyatt helped her when she came to Memphis for the first time, as she didn’t know how to set up a table.
