Here is your fight size update following AEW Dynamite on August 23, 2023.

– Will Ospreay and Chris Jericho went back and forth on the microphone ahead of their match at AEW All In. Ospreay commented on his contract status, as his noted that his NJPW deal would be up in about six months, and he was set to make millions. Chris Jericho emphasized the importance of AEW All In and stated that it was bigger than WrestleMania.

– Christian Cage sent a heated message to Nick Wayne, as he insulted the young star and his late father.

– Roderick String teased that, by the end of AEW All In, fans would see the real MJF and Adam Cole.

– Jon Moxley defeated Rey Fenix in a hard-fought match. Mike Santana made his return after the bell, as he and Ortiz aligned with Blackpool Combat Club (Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli) during a post-match brawl.

– Rey Fenix was taken out on a stretcher following a brutal beatdown by the Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli).

– Darby Allin and Nick Wayne defeated Swerve Strickland and AR Fox. Strickland then kicked Fox out of the Mogul Embassy, and Allin seemingly forgave Fox for his wrongdoing. 

A few adjustments were made to the AEW All In card.

– AEW World Champion MJF delivered an emotional message ahead of his match against Adam Cole at AEW All In.

– FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and the Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) discussed their match at AEW All In. The Young Bucks took some pointed shots at their opponents.

–  Billy Gunn returned and saved The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) from The House of Black (Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, and Brody King). Gunn challenged the group to an AEW World Trios Championship match at AEW All In.

– Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) defeated The Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy) to retain the AEW World Championship. MJF and Adam Cole brawled with the champions and stood tall. But tensions between Cole and MJF continued to rise ahead of their clash at AEW Alll In.

– The Elite (Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks) were set to face Juice Robinson and The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn). Instead, the two teams brawled, and the match was thrown out. Jay White and Konosuke Takeshita got involved, as did FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood).

– Sammy Guevara made it clear that he felt like he had to be there for Chris Jericho, but Matt Menard, Angelo Parker, and Daniel Garcia disagreed.

– Adam Cole stated that MJF helped him regain his confidence and find himself. He claimed that there were no issues between him and MJF ahead of AEW All In, and he stormed off.

– A video package announced that AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker will face Toni Storm and Saraya on AEW Rampage.

– Ruby Soho defeated Skye Blue and set her sights on the TBS Championship.

– Austin Gunn took issue with Billy Gunn calling Max Caster one of his kids.

Santana commented on his return.

– AEW posted a tribute toTerry Funk following his passing.
