Speaking on the August 23 edition of WWE’s The Bump, Edge was asked to name some WWE stars who could potentially celebrate 25 years with the company down the road. He named Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley, among others.
“Dom. I really think Dom, with what he’s learning and what he’s doing. I really think, 25 years from now, he could be sitting here and having the same kind of chat. I think Montez Ford, both Street Profits, Rhea. Theory. Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller, Bron Breakker. I would just tell them, ‘It’s gonna be okay. Just breathe,'” Edge said.
Ripley and Edge previously worked together as members of The Judgment Day, as Edge founded the group. He later feuded with the stable, which added Dominik Mysterio to the mix. Edge defeated Dominik on the September 12, 2022, episode of WWE Raw. Ripley is now the WWE Women’s World Champion, while Mysterio holds the NXT North American Championship.
Edge defeated Sheamus in what he said was the last match on his current contract on the August 18 episode of WWE SmackDown. More information is available here.
