Tony Khan: We’re Going To Make A Ton Of Money On AEW All In
Tony Khan touts the success of AEW All In.
AEW All In is set for August 27 at Wembley Stadium and over 80,000 fans are expected to be at the event.
Speaking to CNBC’s Street Signs, Khan was asked about the success of AEW All In.
“We’re going to make a ton of money on AEW All In. Frankly, before the pay-per-view, it’s already a wildly profitable event based on the ticket sales, which are massive, in the neighborhood of $10 million in tickets we’ve sold. We’re going to have 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium. It’s going to be all kinds of attendance records and a great evening of pro wrestling. The pay-per-view advances have been incredibly strong, our biggest in years, one of our top two of all-time and possibly our biggest ever for pay-per-view when it’s all said and done. It’s so huge as a live event that it’s already guaranteed to be a profitable event,” said Khan.
AEW All In is set to air on traditional pay-per-view and Bleacher Report. Many fans were hoping the event would air on a different streaming platform, and Khan seemingly remains optimistic that AEW will end up on Max.
“Potentially, we could land, I would love on Max. That would be an amazing thing. Max is certainly my favorite streaming platform and the streaming platform of my bosses at Warner Brothers Discovery, the people who carry AEW in US, India, and many great territories. I believe that together, we can come up with something special. I would love to land on Max, home of all my favorite shows,” he said.
Khan has previously expressed his love of Max and wanting AEW content on the platform. WBD CEO David Zaslav stated that Max will soon have live sports and news.
