Moxley was previously set to make his OTT debut at OTT ScrapperMania on March 18, but he was pulled from the show due to an overlapping AEW House Rules event. At the time, Moxley apologized and promised to make it up to OTT.
In the past, Moxley’s OTT debut was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. He had been set to compete at OTT ScrapperMania 6 in February 2020, but the event was canceled due to the pandemic.
Moxley remains somewhat active on the independent scene. Though he was unable to compete at Wrestling REVOVER Heat Up Em, he wrestled at DEFY Super 8XGP.
The former world champion is still featured in AEW as well. He teamed up with Claudio Castagnoli to defeat the Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix) on the August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite. Catch up on our coverage of the show here.
