Jericho Appreciation Society Disbands On 8/9 AEW Dynamite, All Members Walk Out On Chris Jericho

The Jericho Appreciation Society is no more.

The group seemingly disbanded on the August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, after all of the members of the faction walked out on Chris Jericho in a passionate segment.

Daniel Garcia was the first one to walk out, as he confronted Jericho before the ‘Demo God’ could begin speaking. Garcia noted that he changed the fabric of who he is as a human being for Jericho, while also turning his back on his friends and heroes.

Jake Hager was the next person to leave, citing that despite the fact that Jericho made him a lot of money in wrestling, he doesn’t appreciate him.

Anna Jay and Tay Conti walked out on ‘Le Champion’ moments later, citing similar issues to both Hager and Garcia.

The duo of Angelo Parker and Matt Menard left moments after, with Parker saying that he’s given Jericho everything, but he has given nothing in return. Menard got emotional when walking out, as he gave credit to Jericho for helping him get into AEW when his wife was eight months pregnant and he had no job.

The final person to walk out on Jericho was Sammy Guevara, who’s virtually been side by side with Jericho since the inception of All Elite Wrestling. Guevara criticized Jericho for not being able to do the same things for him that he always does for him.

The meeting between the Jericho Appreciation Society was called after Chris Jericho and Konosuke Takeshita cheated to beat Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara on the August 2 episode of AEW Dynamite. Jericho pinned Garcia after Don Callis struck him with a bat.

After the conclusion of the segment, another segment aired showing Jericho and Callis meeting backstage. Jericho said he would have a answer for Callis and the offer to join his family on the August 16 episode of Dynamite.
