LA Knight and The Miz had a heated confrontation on WWE Raw.
Former WWE Champion The Miz was on his way to the ring during the August 7 episode of WWE Raw, but an LA Knight photo shoot forced him to wait. Later in the show, The Miz came to the ring, and he made it clear that he had an issue with the way Knight disrespected him. He stated that he was tired of being disrespected. Knight came down and noted that they had a good introduction in the Slim Jim Battle Royal at WWE SummerSlam.
The Miz refused to shake Knight’s hand and stated that Knight would be the product if all of his own charisma was stripped away. He called Knight an Attitude Era fanboy and said he didn’t deserve to be in the ring. “The A-Lister” highlighted his own 20-year journey and asked Knight what he has been doing for the past two decades.

Knight responded by stating that he had been making himself a dangerous man while WWE bet on the wrong horses, including The Miz. Knight recalled how WWE liked The Miz because he was soft, as he took getting kicked out of locker rooms, while Knight wouldn’t have handled it that way. He also said The Miz’s career was in the toilet, whereas he was on the way up. Knight stated that he could use The Miz as a stepping stone to the main event level. The Miz fired back by saying that Knight wasn’t on his level. Knight dared The Miz to prove him wrong.

The two stars prepared to fight, but The Miz started to walk away. He took a cheap shot and went for the Skull Crushing Finale. Knight had it scouted and left the former champion lying with the Blunt Force Trauma.
