Kairi Sane (KAIRI) Says She Has Made A Decision, Putting Activities On Hiatus At End Of September
Kairi Sane holds her press conference.
On August 7, Kairi Sane (KAIRI) held a press conference to address her future among reports that she would be returning to WWE.
During the press conference, Kairi said (via Eastern Lariat), “I have made a decision. I can’t say it clearly, but in preparation for a new voyage, a voyage of determination, I would like to put my activities on indefinite hiatus as of the end of September 2023. Rest assured that this is a positive decision. Lastly, I would like to thank President Rossy Ogawa for not giving up on me, who was said to have no talent, everyone at Stardom who supported me, wrestlers from other organizations, the media and the fans who have always supported me. Thank you very much.”
Kairi is set to team with Saori Anou to battle Unagi Sayaka and a partner on September 8 for AJPW.
Kairi left WWE in July 2020 to return to Japan and become an ambassador for the company. She returned to STARDOM in March 2022 and recently stated she was a free agent as of March 2023.
Fightful will continue to update fans on Kairi’s status as more is known.
