Callis has been trying to recruit Chris Jericho to join his “family” in recent weeks. In doing so, he is now trying to forge a bond between the former world champion and Takeshita. Callis sided with Takeshita and betrayed his former friend and client, Kenny Omega.

Taking to social media, Callis posted a picture of himself and Chris Jericho before the historic match between Omega and Jericho at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12. Callis apparently Photoshopped Omega out of the picture and replaced him with Takeshita. He claimed that Jericho and Takeshita will “future endeavor” Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara on the August 2 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Callis might have taken Omega out of the picture, but fans will get a chance to see Omega on the August 2 episode of AEW Dynamite. He and the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) will face Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, and Satnam Singh.
