Roxanne Perez: If Blair Davenport Didn’t Take Me Out, She Knew She Wouldn’t Touch The NXT Women’s Title
Roxanne Perez discusses her feud with Blair Davenport.
Blair Davenport returned with a vengeance in May when she was revealed as the mystery attacker who was taking out members of the women’s roster on NXT.
Davenport began to focus her attacks on former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, leading to a showdown between the two at NXT Great American Bash in a Weapons Wild match.
“I think I’ve learned that she feels the need to take out every single person so she can get to the top, which are not characteristics that I really like in a person. But I also realized that I know for a fact that she targeted me specifically right after I lost the NXT Women’s Championship because she knew that if I wasn’t taken out completely, if I wasn’t out of sight and mind, she wouldn’t be able to touch the NXT Women’s Championship. So she had to take me out, but jokes on her because I’m going to take her out this Sunday,” Perez said on Sports Guys Talk Wrestling.
While making the media rounds to promote NXT Great American Bash, Perez discussed her anxiety and depression storyline, which was very real. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
