WWE Charity Event In Detroit, Featuring Cody Rhodes And Liv Morgan, Nears $50,000 Goal

Per Adam Graham of The Detroit News, WWE stars Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan will help pack meals alongside fans to help Detroiters in need. The charity event will be held on August 4, the day before WWE Summer Slam, at Ford Field in Detroit.

Fans can purchase tickets for $150 tickets and $500 for VIP. 100% of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the V Foundation, which was founded by ESPN and late college basketball coach Jim Valvano, in support of Connor’s Cure, per Graham.

Graham also noted that the charity event is the first of its kind for WWE, and it has raised $39,710 of its $50,000 goal.

Morganwas attacked by WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley on the July 24 episode of WWE Raw, and WWE provided an update. More information is available here.
