Davey Boy Smith Jr. Advances In 2023 Opera Cup, Love Doug Picked In MLW Open Draft
News coming out of the July 20 episode of MLW Fusion.
Davey Boy Smith Jr. was the first name to advance in the 2023 MLW Opera Cup, getting past Calvin Tankman in his semifinal bout.
The 2019 Opera Cup winner defeated Tankman by countering the Tankman Driver into the crippler crossface to get the victory.

Smith Jr. will face the winner of Tony Deppen vs. Tracy Williams, which takes place next Thursday on MLW Fusion.
In the fourth round of the MLW Open Draft, Love Doug was selected.
