Mark Briscoe Injured, Not Cleared To Compete Against Claudio Castagnoli At ROH Death Before Dishonor
Mark Briscoe is not cleared for competition due to injury.
Eddie Kingston recently challenged Mark Briscoe to step up and face Claudio Castagnoli for the Ring of Honor World Championship at Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor 2023.
Unfortunately, due to an injury suffered by Briscoe, that match has been postponed for the time being. Tony Khan announced on social media that an opponent for Claudio will be named following the AEW Blood & Guts bout on July 19 between The Golden Elite and Blackpool Combat Club.
Due to an injury reported this week, Mark Briscoe cannot be cleared to wrestle at ROH #DeathBeforeDishonor next Friday 7/21.

Fightful has since learned that Mark Briscoe’s injury is a serious knee injury that will likely require surgery.
