Here is your fight size update following AEW Dynamite on July 12, 2023.

– Jake Hager entered Chris Jericho’s locker room and asked him about Don Callis. Jericho admitted that he didn’t know. Hager handed him his hat and told him if Jericho wasn’t straight with him, he couldn’t be “100” with him.

– Chris Jericho faced Komander in a singles match. Komander delivered a valiant effort but Jericho scored the submission victory

– MJF and Adam Cole bonded, as they spent some time at a bar before they played some video games.

– Don Callis made another attempt to recruit Chris Jericho by taking a trip down memory lane.

– The Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament continued, as Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy faced Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara. In the end, Swerve Strickland interfered and cost Allin the match.

– PAC attacked Kenny Omega and revealed that he was the final member of Blackpool Combat Club’s team for the Blood & Guts Match on the July 19 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Kenny Omega revealed that Kota Ibushi will team up with The Elite (Omega, Hangman Page, and the Young Bucks) for the Blood & Guts Match on the July 19 episode of AEW Dynamite.

– Roderick Strong questioned Adam Cole about his friendship with MJF, and Cole said the AEW World Champion wasn’t half bad. Cole got a text, and apparently MJF got the flu.

– MJF made a timely recovery, as he and MJF faced Big Bill and Brian Cage in the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament. MJF and Cole scored the win and advanced to the finals.

– In a post-match promo, Adam Cole made it clear that he believes he and MJF can win the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament and the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Ruby Soho defeated Skye Blue in a semifinal match in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament

– Jack Perry escaped HOOK once again when the FTW Champion tried to attack him. Perry then tweeted that he was going to Hawaii, and he wouldn’t come back unless he got a shot at the title.

– Nick Wayne looked ahead to his debut in a video package.

– Nick Wayne made his AEW TV in-ring debut when he faced Swerve Strickland. Wayne held his own with Strickland, but Swerve scored the win.

 

– A video package highlighted the July 8 episode of AEW Collision.

– QT Marshall and Harley Cameron played the premiere of Cameron’s “Rap Class”, as she rapped a message to The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens). 

Tony Khan announced that Nick Wayne officially signed with AEW.

– Wheeler Yuta vowed to beat up Kota Ibushi.
