On the July 7 episode of AEW Rampage, Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara faced Jeff Jarrett and Matt Hardy in a quarterfinal match. Jarrett and Hardy looked to out aside their differences, but in the end, Matt refused to cheat, and it cost him. Guevara hit the GTH, and Garcia got the pin.
With the win, Guevara and Garcia advanced to the next round; they will face AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin on the July 12 episode of AEW Dynamite. Allin and Cassidy beat Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland on the July 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.
With some impressive “teamwork,” Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia got the win and are now heading to the semifinals of the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament quarterfinals!

In the main event of the July 7 episode of AEW Rampage, Big Bill and Brian Cage defeated Trent Beretta and Matt Sydal in the last quarterfinal bout. Beretta and Sydal tried to use their expertise as tag team competitors to their advantage, but Bill and Cage ultimately overpowered them. In the end, Cage and Bill hit a powerbomb/lariat combination on Sydal for the win.

Cage and Bill will face AEW World Champion MJF and Adam Cole in a semifinal match on the July 12 episode of AEW Dynamite. MJF and Cole defeated The Butcher and Matt Menard in a first-round bout on the July 5 episode of Dynamite.
