Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament: Swerve Strickland & Keith Lee vs. Darby Allin & Orange Cassidy
Allin hypes up Lee and attempts to inspire him ahead of the match in a pre-match interview. Allin and Lee face off to begin the bout. Cassidy enters and strikes Lee with some of his careless swings. Lee delivers a powerful chop to Cassidy. He throws an Orange Punch at the large guy. Allin and Cassidy are double-teaming Lee, but he is not going down. Strickland rocks Cassidy with a kick. Swerve takes the lead with a barrage of offensive. Allin and Cassidy double-team Strickland. Strickland retakes control. Allin is double-teamed by Lee and Strickland with a suplex/powerbomb combo, mostly so Lee can drop Swerve with a bang. Swerve traps Allin under the stairs. Cassidy does a ringside dive on Strickland. He puts Lee in a sleeper hold and Lee carries him and goes up the stairs on top of Darby. Lee reverses the Stun-dog Millionaire and counters a DDT. Cassidy hits Stundog on the second try. Allin knocks Lee down with a Code Red. Strickland attempts to break up the pin with a 450 Splash, but instead lands on Lee. Strickland unintentionally knocks Lee down with a kick. Cassidy lands a diving DDT on Strickland before diving into Lee. Allin wins by pinning Swerve.
Winners: Darby Allin & Orange Cassidy
– A Nick Wayne vignette airs, featuring Darby Allin discussing their friendship.
– Jack Perry appears and declares his desire to compete for the FTW Championship. HOOK appears and tackles Perry, but he manages to run away.
– A vignette of MJF and Adam Cole working out together airs
The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) & “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn vs. The Blade & Bollywood Boyz
The Acclaimed hit Scissor Me Timbers. They scissor with Gunn. Gunn tags in and slams Gurv. Caster hits the Mic Drop for the win.
Winner: The Acclaimed & “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn
– Harley Cameron arrives on the video screen, interrupting the post-match celebration. She reveals that she created a video and that she will be showing true skill to the public next week. Gunn takes a microphone and tells her to “suck it.”
– At NJPW STRONG Independence Day, Eddie Kingston defeated KENTA to win the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship, and a video package airs recapping it.
– Jon Moxley recounts his past with Eddie Kingston in a video message. He’s perplexed as to why Kingston is upset, given that they don’t live in the past. Moxley claims he dreamed about a different Kingston who became all he could be. He also urges Kingston to pick up the phone.
– Backstage, Matt Hardy discovers that he and Jeff Jarrett have been put together in the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament.
– The Omega vs. Yuta vignette airs.
– Chris Jericho comes out to an ovation from the Alberta audience. Chris Jericho said it’s time for him to make a change in his career. Don Callis comes out and invites him to join his new faction. Jericho says maybe.
Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament: MJF & Adam Cole vs. Matt Menard & The Butcher
Max imitates Adam Cole in the entrance. When Cole refuses to cheat, the champion takes the upper hand and argues with him. MJF starts a “do it” chant, and Cole gives in by helping MJF gain more leverage on an abdominal stretch. MJF is driven into the opposite corner by Menard. When the referee is not looking, the Butcher strikes MJF. The Butcher attacks MJF. MJF rallies and tags Cole, who enters and clears the ring. MJF goes for the tag, but Cole hits The Boom for the victory.
Winners: MJF & Adam Cole
– Following the match, MJF proposes another “bro session,” to which Cole agrees. MJF wishes Cole a happy birthday as confetti comes down from the ceiling. The champion starts a “happy birthday” chant. He delivers Cole a cake and a balloon. MJF puts on a birthday hat and forces Cole to wear one. “The birthday song” is performed by MJF. He starts a “make a wish” chant for Cole, and Cole extinguishes the flame. MJF attempts to shove Cole’s face into the cake, but Cole counters by slamming MJF into the cake instead. Cole expresses gratitude to MJF for all of his efforts.
– Britt Baker previews her match with Ruby Soho in an interview.
– Backstage Chris Jericho is with Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara. Sammy and Danny are questioning Chris Jericho telling Don Callis he is considering joining his faction. It’s learned that Sammy and Danny will be a tag team in the tournament. Chris Jericho says this is the perfect chance to prove that they don’t need him but assures them they are all still family.
Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament: Ruby Soho vs. Dr. Britt Baker DMD
Baker slingblades Soho to the ground. Saraya and Storm divert Baker’s attention. Soho takes advantage and smashes Baker at ringside. When the referee is not looking, Saraya strikes Baker. Soho is in charge of the action and has Baker on the ground. Baker hits Soho with a twisting neckbreaker. Baker kicks Soho. Storm runs distraction. Soho suplexes Baker. Storm assists Soho in hitting Baker with the Owen title belt Ruby brought to the ring, and Ruby nearly wins with the No Future. Soho attempts to lock Baker in the Lockjaw and switches to Rings of Saturn. Storm takes Soho out of the ring when Baker goes for the Lockjaw. Storm tries to grab Baker’s leg, but Britt fights back. Soho rolls up Baker, and Storm holds her down to secure the pin.
Winner: Ruby Soho
– Skye Blue confronts Soho after the match.
Wheeler Yuta vs. Kenny Omega
Omega comes back and knocks Yuta off the top rope. Yuta knocks Omega out with a German. Omega and Yuta continue to fight. Omega dumps Yuta with a dragon suplex and follows it up with another. With a roll-up, Yuta earns a two count. Omega hits the V-trigger but can’t get the One-Winged Angel. Yuta almost wins with the Seat Belt. Omega powerbombs Yuta and scores a two-count with a V-Trigger. Callis walks down the ramp, distracting Omega. Takeshita enters the ring undetected and smashes Omega. Yuta scores a two-count with a splash. Omega persists and hits the One-Winged Angel for 3.
Winner: Kenny Omega
– After the bell, Claudio Castagnoli and Takeshita assault Omega. The Elite makes the save (The Young Bucks and Hangman Page). Page goes to use a chair on Claudio Castagnoli but The Dark Order stops him.
