The resolution was sent to all parties involved and it will and its intention is to ensure the activity to the division that had a year without a title fight.
Denis Lebedev, the WBA "super" cruiserweight champion, will defend his title against Mark Flanagan on July 10 in Ekaterinburg, Russia. The winner of that fight will have to unify the WBA titles within 120 days of the Lebedev vs. Flanagan fight.
Dorticos, who was previously the organization's interim champion, had been scheduled to fight Shumenov for several months. They were scheduled to fight in their mandatory bout on April 29 in Las Vegas, but the fight was called off when Shumenov suffered the eye injury in training about 10 days before the bout.
