Paul Heyman: I Am The One, It’s Not Even Up For Debate Anymore

For the majority of Roman Reigns’ historic run as the Universal Champion (and later the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion), Paul Heyman has been by his side. As “The Special Counsel to The Tribal Chief”, he has guided Reigns along throughout his remarkable reign. Though Heyman once seemingly switched sides and temporarily aligned with Brock Lesnar, he has regained his place alongside Reigns. 

In addition to his duties as the Special Counsel, Heyman also has another important job, as he carries Reigns’ three titles with him on the way to the ring, and he holds the gold during the champion’s matches.

Heyman had some fun with a picture of himself carrying the titles, as he wrote that he is the GOAT. He stated that it was undisputed, and he is the one, which was an apparent nod to Reigns’ new shirt that says he is the only one.

Despite Heyman’s clear excellence, Reigns suffered a stunning defeat at WWE Money in the Bank; he teamed up with Solo Sikoa, and the duo faced The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso). Jey scored the win over Reigns, which marked the first time in three years that Reigns was pinned. More information is available here.
