In a digital exclusive released just hours before Monday Night Raw went on the air, ‘The Original Bro’ was interviewed by Byron Saxton backstage. In the interview, Riddle cut straight to the chase and challenged Gunther to a Intercontinental Championship match at the upcoming Money In The Bank premium live event.

The broadcast team subsequently confirmed the match for WWE Money in the Bank. The bout will mark Gunther’s first televised defense of the title since his bout with Mustafa Ali that occurred at the Night Of Champions premium live event back in May. It will be Riddle’s first shot at a singles championship since the October 17 edition of Raw, where he failed to capture the United States Championship from Seth Rollins.
Money In The Bank is set to emanate from the O2 Arena in London, England on Saturday, July 1. Fightful will have full coverage of the premium live event beginning at 3 p.m. EST.
