CM Punk Takes Responsibility For AEW Collision Loss, Will Keep Fighting Like The Toronto Maple Leafs

CM Punk takes responsibility as the captain. 

CM Punk was on the losing end of AEW Collision as he, Ricky Starks, & FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) lost to The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) & Bullet Club Gold (Jay White & Juice Robinson) in the main event. White pinned Starks to secure the victory for his team. 

Punk, who fed into the mixed reaction during his entrance and throughout the match, addressed the crowd after the match. 

“I would like to make this short and sweet. As the team captain, I take full responsibility for the loss. I want you all to know, even though I lose sometimes, I’m going to keep on coming back and fighting, just like your Toronto Maple Leafs,” he exclaimed.

The Maple Leafs keep fighting, but also keep losing as they haven’t won a Stanley Cup Championship in decades.
