Tetsuya Naito Revealed As Sting And Darby Allin’s Partner For AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023
Sting and Darby Allin have chosen their partner for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
Sting and Darby Allin kicked off the second episode of AEW Saturday Collision by confronting Chris Jericho and Minoru Suzuki. Sammy Guevara was not in attendance tonight and revealing that their tag team partner for the Trios Match at Forbidden Door will be a former rival of Chris Jericho, Tetsuya Naito.
Jericho and Naito feuded over the IWGP Intercontinental Championship between 2018 and 2019, with Naito defeating Jericho at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13. As was stated by Darby on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Jericho has made many enemies throughout his career, but now the odds are even for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2.
