Jacob Fatu Wins MLW National Openweight Championship On 6/22 MLW Fusion
Jacob Fatu has gold again.
Jacob Fatu won the MLW National Openweight Championship on the June 22 episode of MLW Fusion, defeating John Hennigan (John Morrison) to win the title.
The bout featured interference from Taya Valkyrie and Sam Adonis on behalf of Hennigan, but Delmi Exo and Mance Warner evened things up for Fatu.
The finish saw Fatu hit a super kick, a pop up samoan drop, and his double jump moonsault for the victory.

The bout was taped on April 6.
The marks Fatu’s first reign with the MLW National Openweight Championship. Hennigan held the title for 89 days (from when he won the title live to when he lost it live) and made one successful title defense.
