Elsewhere in the show, TBS Champion Kris Statlander agreed to give Taya Valkyrie a shot at the gold “next week” during the June 16 episode of AEW Rampage. Valkyrie defeated Trish Adora on AEW Ramage, and Statlander interrupted her post-match interview. Valkyrie claimed that she broke Jade Cargill down ahead of her title win at AEW Double or Nothing. Statlander said she would put out the challenge for the following week, and Valkyrie knew where to find her.
Though the match has not been confirmed, Orange Cassidy challenged Daniel Garcia and Zack Sabre Jr. to face him and Katsuyori Shibata on Wednesday.
