Angelo Dawkins: WWE Tag Titles Still Look Good; We Might Merge Them, Make Them Purple

New titles have been the trend in WWE with the introduction of the WWE World Heavyweight Title, Roman Reigns getting a singular WWE Championship, and Rhea Ripley and Asuka getting new women’s titles to replace the brand specific WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown Women’s Titles.

The WWE Tag Team Titles are currently brand specific, but are collectively held as the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles by Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens.

Appearing on The Masked Man Show, Angelo Dawkins of the Street Profits was asked if fans could potentially see new WWE Tag Team Titles.

“Your guess is as good as me. If there is, I hope. One can only hope. The titles that we have still look good, red and blue, we might merge them together. Make it purple. We’re going to introduce the purple gang. If they decide to change it, I’m all for it,” said Dawkins.

Asked for his thoughts on the new world titles, Dawkins said, “I like them. They look good. They would look good around my waist. They would look good around Montez’ waist. You never know.”

The Street Profits (Dawkins & Montez Ford) defeated LA Knight & Rick Boogs on the May 19 episode of WWE SmackDown.

The Street Profits are set to compete in a #1 Contender Tag Team Gauntlet on the June 16 episode of WWE SmackDown. Fans can find results from past episodes of WWE SmackDown at Fightful’s results section.
