– Sammy Guevara returned and teased making some changes. Darby Allin confronted him and wondered if he would stand on his own or remain in Chris Jericho’s shadow. Jericho interrupted, and tensions rose between him and Guevara, as Sammy refused to apologize to the former world champion. Sting made the save when Jericho threatened to beat Allin up. Sting and Jericho then squared off in a heated moment.

– Wardlow defeated Jake Hager to retain the TNT Championship. Christian Cage announced that Luchasaurus accepted Wardlow’s open challenge for a title shot.

– Toni Storm beat Skye Blue to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship. Willow Nightingale made the save when Storm and Soho attacked Blue after the match.

– In an interview, The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) targeted The Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy) and vowed to prove that they were the best brother tag team in AEW.

AEW World Champion MJF and Adam Cole battled it out in a thrilling match that ended in a time-limit draw.

CM Punk appeared in a vignette and said he had scores to settle and a lot to say.

IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA issued an open challenge for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2, and “Junge Boy” Jack Perry later accepted it.

Hiroshi Tanahashi challenged AEW World Champion MJF to a match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2. MJF threatened to no-show the event, but AEW confirmed the match.

– Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin, Sting, and Keith Lee defeated Mogul Embassy (Swerve Strickland, Brian Cage, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun).

Zack Sabre Jr. confronted AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy and challenged him to a match.

– Hangman Page and the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) defeated Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) in a hard-fought main event.

Eddie Kingston returned and Will Ospreay appeared in a chaotic conclusion to AEW Dynamite.
