Zack Sabre Jr. Challenges Orange Cassidy To AEW International Championship Match At Forbidden Door 2
The AEW International Championship could be on the line at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
During the June 14 episode of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy was interrupted during a backstage interview by Zack Sabre Jr., who challenged him to an Intercontinental Championship match at Forbidden Door on June 25. Sabre noted that though he is the first NJPW World Television Champion, he likes the idea of being a double champ.
Before Cassidy could answer, Daniel Garcia interrupted them and said he wants a shot at Katsuyori Shibata’s ROH Pure Championship. OC then challenged Sabre and Garcia to a tag team match against himself and Shibata for next week.
Though the match for Forbidden Door has yet to be confirmed, Orange Cassidy did say during the Double or Nothing media scrum that he would fight Zack Sabre Jr. Click here to read his full remarks.
